Brodric Thomas was awarded his second straight GLVC Player of the Week honor, after leading Truman to back to back wins in the Washburn Thanksgiving Classic over the weekend. In the first game, he put up a season high 32 points against Newman on 11-17 (.647) shooting from the floor, with seven boards, six assists and two blocked shots. The next day Thomas scored 29 points against Washburn to lead the Bulldogs over the Ichabods by two. Once again he grabbed seven rebounds. Thomas is averaging nearly 25 points per game in seven contests.

The Truman teams will host Quincy Tuesday night to tip-off Great Lakes Valley Conference play. The Bulldog men are looking for their fourth straight win. Coach Jeff Horner believes the Hawks are improved….

 

Horner and the Bulldogs are 4-3. Quincy comes to Pershing Arena with a record of 3-2.

The doubleheader starts with the women’s contest. Truman split games at the Drury Thanksgiving Classic to enter GLVC play with a record of 4-2. The Hawks are 2-4.
