Teacher Shortage is Real in Missouri

Schools throughout the state are having trouble finding teachers to fill openings. Brent Ghan with the Missouri School Boards Association says there is a real teacher shortage.

According to Ghan, there are some other areas of concern as well.

The General Assembly is expected to address teacher salaries, during the upcoming state legislative session.
