Koenig was originally charged with two counts of second degree murder and robbery.

Sentencing will take place September 23rd.

Earlier this month, 21-year-old Christopher Esry pleaded guilty to two counts of second degree murder and received a 20-year sentence on both counts. 42-year-old Aaron Bloss is also charged with two counts of second degree murder and robbery, and Bloss has a court appearance scheduled for mid-May. Late last year, 23-year-old Steven Bell received a four-year sentence after pleading guilty to tampering with physical evidence.

On December 29th, 2018, the Moberly Police Department investigated a suspicious vehicle in the 600 block of Concannon Street and found two Columbia men dead inside. Both appeared to have died from gunshot wounds.
