A 26-year-old Huntsville man is in custody, charged with first degree robbery, a class A Felony, after allegedly robbing the Bratcher’s Fuel station in Moberly Saturday evening. According to court documents, authorities were able to identify the suspect as Shawn Kenneth McCormick, by watching video surveillance. The video allegedly shows McCormick carrying a brown rifle gun and ordering a witness to “stand there, don’t move” and telling the cashier to put the money from the register into a bag. McCormick allegedly grabbed the bag of money and kicked the front glass door of the store, and left the area in a vehicle. He was taken into custody Monday, after Moberly Police posted pictures from the robbery on Facebook. McCormick is being held without bond.
