Surging Fertilizer Prices Rile Tarkio Farmer In Congress

Fertilizer prices were already surging this past winter, before Russia’s invasion of Ukraine further reduced supplies of natural gas and other inputs critical to plant growth and farm bottom lines.  Northern Missouri Congressman Sam Graves says input costs could become more manageable were the Biden Administration to embrace drilling for domestic energy.

Graves says costs for some inputs have tripled on his farm outside Tarkio.
