Superintendent Rapert Reflects on Time at Cairo

Darren Rapert is wrapping up his ninth and final year as superintendent of the Northeast R-IV School District. On KWIXLand This Morning this week, he looked at the highlights.

Rapert started his teaching career at Malta Bend, before returning to his home area of Cuba. He then spent eight years in the Fayette district. Rapert said if he were education commissioner, he would not put so much emphasis on test scores.

Darren Rapert will be replaced by David Samuel as the next superintendent at Cairo on July 1st. You can hear the full interview by going to the KWIXLand This Morning page in the news section.
