Sundvold Has UMSL In The NCAA D2 Elite Eight

The Tigers weren’t the only University of Missouri team in the NCAA Basketball Tournament. Missouri-St. Louis won the NCAA Division 2 Midwest Regional to advance to the Elite Eight in Evansville, Indiana. Bob Sundvold is the coach of the cinderella Tritons, who entered the postseason as the number five seed in the GLVC Tournament. The other impressive fact is that Sundvold had to re-build, after his Sweet 16 UMSL team of a year ago was gutted by the transfer portal…..

Sundvold and the Tritons will play undefeated and top ranked Nova Southeastern, Florida….

UMSL is 24-10, with one the losses to Truman. The Triton’s game with Nova Southeastern will tipoff at 6:00 tonight (Tues.) at the Ford Center, in Evansville, Indiana.
