Sturgeon Schools Warning About Man

The Sturgeon School District is warning families about a man who followed a parent from Casey’s to the elementary school parking lot Friday morning. In a message to parents, Superintendent Dr. Melia Franklin said the man pulled into the parking lot right behind her. The mother alerted the teachers. When an administrator approached the man, he was belligerent and menacing, but left, driving the wrong way on a one-way street. He is described as a white male in his late 40s or early 50s. He is bald or has brown stubble hair, and he drives a blueish-purple Ford Escape. If you see him or his vehicle on any school property, the district asks you contact the school administrator or law enforcement.
