The Sturgeon School District is moving closer to a decision on potentially moving to a four day school week for 2020-21. Sturgeon Superintendent Geoffrey Neill says they recently finished reviewing surveys from staff, students, and parents on the potential change.

The information has involved the posting of a fact sheet and sample calendars for four day weeks to the district’s website. Neill says the posting of these fact sheets is one of the final steps in the process.

The final decision on whether the Sturgeon School District moves to a four day week could come at the January 9th school board meeting. At the latest, the decision will be made at the February meeting.
