Sturgeon Increases Teacher Pay

Sturgeon teachers will see a pay increase next school year. Superintendent Dr. Dustin Fanning says the school board approved a two thousand dollar increase in base pay this week.

That will bring the minimum salary to 35-thousand-500 dollars.

Non-certified staff will see their pay increase by a dollar an hour. Fanning says the district also continues to explore two different options for adding a STEM classroom, either a PhabLab or a SmartLab.
