Strong Starts Guide Mexico Boys, Moberly Girls to Lopsided Wins

The Mexico boys and Moberly girls used strong first half performances to guide them to lopsided wins Friday night.

The Mexico boys raced out to a 30-8 lead after one quarter in a 75-50 win.

After being held to 25 points through three quarters, Mexico scored 21 in the final frame. Claire Hudson had 11 of her team-high 22 in that fourth. Grace Hudson had 10 in the quarter and ended with 16. Coach Makenzie Mudd was proud of her team playing through the end.

Moberly advances to 19-2 while Mexico falls to 9-11.
