Strange Stories from the 4th of July Tornado 25 Years Ago

In the aftermath of the July 4th, 1995 tornado in Moberly came several incredible stories. Former KWIX-KRES Program Director Greg Walker joined Brad for an anniversary show five years ago to discuss the book “The Roaring Force”, about the Moberly tornado. He told this story of a barbeque interrupted on West Logan Street.
The Home Care of Mid Missouri building was heavily damaged by the tornado. During our coverage 25 years ago, Bonnie Whorton shared a couple unique stories.
The building that housed Norton Bookkeeping lost a roof. During our tornado coverage 25 years ago, Margaret Norton said a tenant upstairs slept through it.
