Storms Rumble Through Big K Listening Area Overnight

Once again severe storms rumbled through the Big K listening area Friday night into Saturday morning. An EF-0 tornado did touchdown about four miles west-by-southwest of Winigan at around 11:20 last night. The storm damaged trees, small outbuildings and a grain bin. The twister traveled around one mile and was on the ground for about three minutes. High winds and large hail were present in many storms. There were reports of power outages and gusts over 60 miles per hour in Mexico. Palmyra had a report of tree limbs down and a shelf cloud.
