Steven E. Hamilton
Steven E. Hamilton, 73, of Frankford, passed away Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at his home.
There will be no visitation or services per Steve and the family’s wishes. A private memorial service will be held at Frankford Fairview Cemetery at a later date. Bibb-Veach Funeral Homes and Crematory in Bowling Green is handling the arrangements.
Steve was born March 14, 1951, in Hannibal, Missouri to Floyd E. and Margie Irene (Riechard) Hamilton. He married Deborah Royce England in Bowling Green on August 15, 1973. She survives.
Also surviving is one son, Eric E. Hamilton of Frankford. Other survivors include one brother, Donald W. (Marilyn) Hamilton of Bowling Green and their sons, Dustin M. (Courtney) Hamilton of Kirksville and Andrew C. (Heather) Hamilton of Wentzville. Also surviving is one sister-in-law, Dinah R. England and her daughter, Katie M. (Zeke) Cernes and son, Caleb G. Rouz, all of Quincy, Illinois.
As well as a love of farming and gardening on the family farm, Steve spent his career at Hercules and Ireco/Dyno Nobel in Louisiana, Missouri as a chemist and technical manager . He enjoyed teaching school classes and 4-H students about the environment and gardening. He and his family have been very active members in the Frankford Presbyterian Church, where Steve has served as an elder, church treasurer and Sunday School teacher. He loved music and would occasionally still sing special numbers at church.
The family would appreciate cards and letters in his memory. Memorials may be made to the Frankford Presbyterian Church. These may be mailed or delivered to Bibb-Veach Funeral Homes and Crematory at 606 W. Main St., Bowling Green, MO, 63334, where they will be forwarded to the family.
