Leaders and supporters of the Missouri State Fair are reflecting on the life and legacy of former state senator Jim Mathewson, who died Monday. Director Mark Wolfe says that whether it was at the state capitol or the fairgrounds, Mathewson was eager to help out newcomers and share his insight.
And that included Wolfe, who became the fair’s director in 2009.
