Spartan Basketball Enjoying Early Start to Summer

The Moberly Spartans boys basketball team competed at the Higbee Shootout last week. Coach Brett Boyer likes what he has seen so far this summer.
It is a Spartan squad that finished with a 3-23 record last season. The team graduated seniors Derieus Wallace, Collin Huffman and Tremayne Watts. Boyer highlights the current Spartan roster.
Boyer will be in his second year at the helm, and notes the difference from when he took over the position midway through the summer of last year.
The Spartans faced Louisiana, Atlanta, and North Callaway at the Higbee Shootout.
