Soy Innovation Challenge Names First Winners

Four FFA Chapters have earned cash prizes for their ideas showcasing new uses for soybeans.  The Soy Innovation Challenge, sponsored by Missouri Soybeans, tasked chapters with devising unique ways to educate visitors to the Center for Soy Innovation about the many products derived from the crop.  Communications Director Samantha Turner tells Regional Radio about the winning project submitted by the Savannah FFA Chapter.

The panel will be installed later this year.  Savannah FFA received ten-thousand dollars for their winning design.  Centralia placed second in the challenge and received five-thousand dollars.  Chapters from California and Galena also earned cash prizes for finishing in the top four.
