South Park Swatted

The Moberly School District says South Park Elementary received a phone call Wednesday threatening the school if it did not send the caller bitcoin. Local law enforcement determined the incoming call was not local, but police remained at the school out of abundance of caution. This phone scam event has happened at other schools nationwide. If you receive a “swatting call”, call 911 and write down the number if possible.
