Slater Seeking Funding for Future Sewer Lining

Over the past five years, the City of Slater has gone through the process of lining its sewer lines. Last year, the city did seven-thousand linear feet of sewer lining at a cost of 234 thousand dollars. City Clerk Russell Griffith says there’s still more work to be done.

Griffith details the upcoming bidding process.

The majority of Slater’s sewer lining work has been done by Insituform of St. Louis.
