Slater Joins a New Football Conference While Remaining a CAC Member

A new football conference is coming to Missouri. The Slater Board of Education approved the formation of the West Central Football Conference. Superintendent Debbie Gonzalez says this makes plenty of sense for the team.
The new conference will feature two divisions. One would feature Adrian, Crest Ridge, Lone Jack, Midway, and Wellington. The other division features Cole Camp, Lincoln, Tipton, Slater, and Windsor.
Gonzalez explains what the next steps are for the conference.
Slater will remain in the Central Activities Conference for the rest of their activities.
