Sign Unveiling at Randolph County Railroad Museum

A new sign for the Randolph County Historical and Railroad Museum was officially unveiled during a ceremony Monday afternoon in front of the building on Sturgeon Street in Moberly at Depot Park. Spokesman JW Ballinger…

The sign was placed on the building as a gift paid for with memorial donations in honor of Lyle “Red” Hazlet, the husband of Carolee Hazlet. Ballinger says the sign is one of the recent improvements to the railroad museum, which is located in an 1889 building that was part of the Wabash, St. Louis, and Pacific Railroad complex.

Members of the city council, city administration, chamber, parks department, the historical society, and many other groups were on hand for the sign unveiling.
