Shelby County Ag Night Returns Next Week

After nearly a decade-long hiatus, Shelby County Ag Night is set to return next Thursday night at North Shelby High School beginning at 5:30. The event is being hosted by the University of Missouri Extension in Shelby County. MU Extension Nutrition and Health Specialist Carrie Elsen says there will be six sessions covering a variety of topics.

Following the sessions, Missouri Director of Agriculture Chris Chinn will speak to the attendees. Elsen says this is a big event for the Shelby County area.

All aspects of Shelby County Ag Night are free. Elsen says this includes the meal.

There will also be two-thousand dollars in door prizes. You can pre-register by Monday for an extra door prize entry. To register, call the Shelby County Extension at 573-633-2640, or e-mail [email protected].
