Missouri has entered the second phase of its reopening plan Tuesday. Despite restrictions decreasing, Shelby County Health Department Administrator Audrey Gough says precautionary measures such as sanitizing, washing hands, social distancing and wearing masks in congregated areas are still strongly encouraged.

One of the large gatherings coming up in Shelby County is the fair. Gough says that fair is already restricting some of their activities.

There has been only one positive case of coronavirus in Shelby County. That individual was hospitalized back in March and has since recovered.
