Shelbina Senator Discusses Education Reform Legislation

Senator Cindy O’Laughlin was not surprised that several pieces of education reform came up short of legislative approval during the session that ended earlier this month. That includes Senate Bill 55, which contained a number of provisions.

O’Laughlin plans to spend the time leading up to the new session meeting with superintendents and school leaders throughout the state.

O’Laughlin chairs the Senate Education Committee. Prefiling of bills for the new session begins in December.
