Today is the special election for several area ballot measures. North Shelby School District voters will decide on Proposition Raiders, which would increase the operating levy from $3.9019 to $5.3519 per hundred dollars of assessed valuation for staff salaries, facility maintenance, and operating expenses. Lewis County School District voters have a similar ballot measure, increasing the levy by another 39 cents to $4.7219. Keytesville voters have a three percent local marijuana sales tax measure on the ballot. Voters in the Linn County Consolidated Public Water Supply District 1 will vote on a two million dollar bond issue. Polls close at 7 tonight.
