Serious UTV Accident In Macon County

A New Cambria man was seriously injured on Saturday afternoon when the UTV he was driving collided with a tractor. The accident took place on private property about four miles northwest of New Cambria. According to the State Highway Patrol, 47-year-old Michael Duncan was headed south when he struck a tractor, driven by 38-year-old Nicholas Orscheln of Columbia. The two collided head-on and it was reported that both men had limited vision due to smoke from a brush fire near the roadway. Duncan was transported by air to an area hospital and Orscheln was not injured in the incident.
