One of the reasons the prescription drug monitoring program was not approved in the last session of the General Assembly was because of strong opposition from the Senate Conservative Caucus, including Senator Cindy O’Laughlin. Southeast Missouri State Representative Holly Rehder, who has championed that legislation, indicates that she will refile the measure during her final session in the House. O’Laughlin tells Regional Radio that there were a number of reasons she opposed the measure.
