Senator O’Laughlin Bringing Back Reading Bill for Session

Shelbina State Senator Cindy O’Laughlin will once again chair the Senate Education Committee. One of O’Laughlin’s top goals for this session is to improve the state’s shortcomings when it comes to reading.

O’Laughlin explains how she hopes her reading bill can address some of these shortcomings.

O’Laughlin says she’s working on the bill with a small committee of Republicans, Democrats, and invested partners. The session starts Wednesday.
