Senate Passes Congress Term Limit Resolution
May 1, 2022 7:55AM CDT

The Missouri Senate passed Senate Concurrent Resolution 25 last month. It proposes an amendment to the Constitution that limits the number of terms that a person may be elected to the U.S. House or Senate. Shelbina State Senator Cindy O’Laughlin supports the measure.
O’Laughlin feels not having a term limit gives long-tenured politicians an unfair advantage over newer candidates.
The resolution was passed April 21st.
