Senate Committee Marking Up the Budget

Members of the Senate Appropriations Committee are marking up the new state budget this week in preparation for the spending plan going to the floor. Senator Denny Hoskins is a member of the Appropriations Committee.
Something else that comes into play is federal funding from the pandemic relief packages.
The budget must be reconciled with the House and sent to the governor by May 7th.
