Senate Bill 55, which contains a number of provisions dealing with school choice, is expected to be considered on the floor this week. Senator Cindy O’Laughlin, the Chair of the Education Committee, says her original proposal now contains several other bills.

The Shelbina lawmaker says there are several items the bill needs to include before it is passed out of the senate.

Another deals with charter school expansion.

O’Laughlin says the bill also needs to include allowing parents to record IEP meetings.
