Second Suspect Identified in Shooting of Sturgeon Man

A second suspect has been successfully identified in the homicide of 38-year old Joseph Hecht of Sturgeon. Columbia Police originally arrested 23-year old Kesan Tyree McNeal of Columbia for the fatal shooting that took place shortly after 12:30 Saturday morning. They have now identified a second suspect in the shooting, 24-year old Marlin Johnson of Columbia. The Columbia Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating Johnson. He is identified as a black male with dreadlocks. He stands at five-feet, ten inches tall and weighes 160 pounds. He is considered to be armed and dangerous.
