A search is underway in the Missouri River at Boonville. Around 11:40am Sunday morning, a State Highway Patrol trooper observed what appeared to be a motorist assist on the bridge. As the trooper pulled up to the vehicle, a man jumped over the side of the bridge, briefly resurfaced, then disappeared. The man was described as white, in his 30s, with a tan shirt and camouflage pants. The search Sunday included air, land, and water units, but the search was suspended for the evening and will continue Monday. Family has been identified, the man’s name has been withheld.
