Scotland County Remains in Lewis and Clark, Says 11-Man Football Will Stay

Scotland County will be one of three 11-man football schools left in the Lewis and Clark Conference for the 2024-25 school year. Last week, Harrisburg and Fayette sent letters to fellow L&C schools informing them of their intention to be part of the formation of a new conference. Scotland County Athletic Director Lance Campbell shares his reaction to the recently announced departures.

Westran and Salisbury will be the other two 11-man football schools in the conference. Campbell says the Tigers are not considering a switch to 8-man football at this time.

Marceline, Harrisburg and Fayette will fulfill their obligation to the L&C for the upcoming academic year.

A meeting of the remaining L&C schools will take place next month.
