Preparations continue in Schuyler County for the Rams’ first season in eight-man football. The Rams haven’t had a winning season in 11-man football since 2012 and haven’t registered more than three wins in any of those seasons. Coach Corey Randall talks about how the team’s transition has gone so far.

Randall is entering his second year as the football coach for the Rams and is embracing the opportunity to switch to eight-man football. He says a lot of teaching has been taking place this summer.

Randall has also communicated a lot with North Shelby eight-man football coach Seth Bass as of late to talk about how they built their program into a state quarterfinal contender last fall. Randall outlines what the rest of the summer will look like from the Rams eight-man football program.

The Rams will open up their season on the road against the new Keytesville/Northwestern co-op and then have their home eight-man football debut against state semifinalist Pattonsburg. The Rams will also travel to North Shelby Week four.
