Salisbury Woman Killed in Randolph County Accident

A Salisbury woman was killed and two others were seriously injured in a two-vehicle accident along US 24 two-and-a-half miles west of Huntsville around 12:20 this afternoon. The State Highway Patrol reports 77-year-old Loretta Harmon of Salisbury crossed the center line and struck 82-year-old Mary Liebhart of New Boston head on. Harmon was pronounced dead at the scene. Liebhart and a passenger, 86-year-old Kathryn Milner of Marceline, suffered serious injuries and were transported to Columbia.
