SALISBURY WOMAN INJURED IN CHARITON CO ACCIDENT

A Salisbury woman suffered serious injuries in an accident in Chariton County around 3pm Tuesday. The State Highway Patrol reports that 31-year-old Ann Burks was southbound on Route ZZ, five miles southeast of Marceline, when she experienced a medical issue, and her truck went off the road and struck a tree. Burks was taken to Columbia.
