Salisbury Visits Westran in Week 1 Rematch

The Westran football team opened the season at Salisbury with a 45-12 win, and one of those two teams will have their season end Friday night in Huntsville. Westran is 4-5, and the third seed in Class 1, District 6, while the Panthers are 2-6, and the sixth seed. Hornets coach Aaron O’Laughlin says the Panthers look a lot different then they did earlier.

The Hornets are coming in off a 35-0 win over Paris. O’Laughlin says his team needs to be in attack mode.

Salisbury coach Oren Magruder is hoping to build on last week’s 50-0 win over Missouri Military Academy.

Magruder hopes the Week 1 loss lit a fire under his team.

J.B. Connoley will have the broadcast on Glory 97.3 and centralmoinfo.com.
