Salisbury Surges into District Semifinals With 13th Straight Win

Salisbury defeated Glasgow 68-45 in the district quarterfinals at Salisbury Tuesday. The Panthers responded to a 10-7 deficit with a 12-0 run late in the first quarter.

Six of Wyatt’s seven rotation players scored nine-plus points. Jackson King paced the 18-2 Panthers with 14. Yellowjacket head coach Mick Cropp addressed Glasgow’s difficulties against pressure.

Cropp’s junior guard Drew Sanders produced a game-high 15 points. Glasgow closed the season 4-14. Salisbury hosts Westran in the district semifinals Thursday.
