Salisbury Success Number One Local Sports Story of the Year

Salisbury High School’s all-around success was our Number One local sports story in our Top Ten for 2023. Second was Centralia’s first state wrestling title along with Brookfield’s boys and girls both bringing home trophies. Third was the Meadville girls winning a state basketball championship. 5) Cody Schrader leads Mizzou to a New Year’s 6 Bowl.
6) Teams leaving the Lewis and Clark Conference and starting the Central State 8.
7) La Plata wins a state softball championship.
8) MACC Lady Hounds win a game at the NJCAA Tournament, and the women’s team gets a new coach.
9) Wainwright gets to 200 wins in his final season.
10) Moberly girls basketball gets over the top with a district title, and advance to the quarterfinals.
