During their June meeting, the Salisbury School Board finalized the district’s 2020-21 budget and also approved their new budget for the 2021-22 school year. Salisbury Superintendent Tony Whiston says their budget from the previous school year finished with a surplus.

The district’s budget for fiscal year 2022 totals just over seven-million dollars. Whiston says the budget is similar to previous years.

Along with the budget, the Salisbury School Board also approved switching their monthly meeting dates from the third Thursday to the second Tuesday of each month. That change becomes effective in August.
