Salisbury Girls Roll Glasgow, Clinch First District Title Since 2003

The Salisbury girls rolled Glasgow 60-30 to win the Class 2 District 7 championship. Salisbury led 8-7 after one quarter and outscored the Lady Jackets 18-4 in the second. After Glasgow scored the first five points of the third quarter, Rachel Fessler’s hot hand gave Salisbury the momentum right back.
Fessler finished with 15 points while Khloe Wyatt put in a game-high 22. Coach Wade Billington reacted to the Lady Panthers’ first district title since 2003.
Glasgow seniors Malia Carmack and Brenna Hubbard each had 13 points. Coach Molly Monnig assessed the loss.
The Lady Jackets close the season 12-14. Salisbury improves to 19-7 and will play St. Paul Lutheran (Concordia) at Helias Catholic High School Wednesday at 6.
