Salisbury AD Reacts to Latest L&C News

Salisbury Athletic Director Jason Haines reacts to last week’s Lewis & Clark Conference news…

Harrisburg and Fayette are leaving the conference to form a new league. Marceline’s departure to the Grand River Conference was announced in December. All moves take effect in the 24-25 school year. Haines says the future is unclear.

With the latest MSHSAA reclassification, Class 1 will now have the least amount of schools of all six 11-man football classes. Haines says that played a big role in Salisbury’s football discussions.

Westran and Scotland County are the lone two other 11-man teams remaining in the L&C.
