The United Way of Randolph County fundraising campaign is underway, with a goal of 165 thousand dollars. One of the agencies served is the Safe Passage crisis center and shelter. Kelly Pedigo is the Co-Director and Volunteer Coordinator and explains how United Way donations help.
Acting Director of United Way of Randolph County, Glen Clark, says ten agencies will benefit from United Way funding.
Pedigo added that Safe Passage is in need of paper towels. Other donation ideas include trash bags, diapers and cleaning supplies.
