Ruby Iren Hoelscher
Ruby Iren Hoelscher, 81, of Mexico, formerly of Bowling Green, passed away Friday morning, August 9, 2024 at Missouri University Hospital in Columbia, Missouri.
Memorial services for Ruby will be held Wednesday, August 14, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Bibb-Veach Funeral Homes and Crematory in Bowling Green with Randy Jones officiating. Burial will be in Warrenton City Cemetery at 4:00 p.m. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
Ruby was born April 21, 1943 in Pendleton, Missouri to Arthur Frederich Hoelscher and Cecelia Ruby Jewel (Remschner) Hoelscher. Ruby was married to Robert Bush for 22 years. To this union 2 children were born; Andrew Bush and Nancy (Bush) Biggerstaff. Robert preceded Ruby in death.
Ruby spent her years residing in areas of Warren County, Bowling Green, and, most recently, Mexico, Missouri. Ruby had been employed at a shoe factory, a bakery, and as a med-tech at a nursing home. Ruby enjoyed spending her free time crocheting, reading, and watching John Wayne Westerns. She loved everything Elvis.
Ruby is survived by her children, Andrew Bush and Nancy Biggerstaff, both of Mexico; sister, Teresa Teson of Bowling Green; and grandchildren, Libbie Bush, Noah Bush, Trinity Bush, and Gracelyn Bush; along with many nieces and nephews and a large extended family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert Bush, and a brother, Art Hoelscher.
