ROLLOVER ACCIDENT ON MORLEY SUNDAY AFTERNOON

A Moberly resident had minor injuries in a rollover accident Sunday afternoon on Morley Street. Around 3, officers were sent to the 600 block of North Morley, in reference to a single-vehicle accident. On arrival, officers learned that 19-year-old Richard G. Baker of Moberly was southbound on Morley when he lost control of his vehicle and struck an Ameren Missouri power pole, then continued and overturned, coming to rest near the intersection with Union Avenue. Baker refused treatment at the scene, but all lanes of traffic were closed until a crew from Ameren could repair the power pole. The street reopened to traffic around 5.
