Robert “Bob” Lynn Ingram

Robert “Bob” Lynn Ingram, 67, of Bowling Green, passed away Wednesday, May 29, 2024, at DePaul Hospital in Bridgeton, Missouri, surrounded by his family.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, June 4, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at Second Baptist Church in Bowling Green with Bro. Mark West and Bro. Don Amelung officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Bowling Green. Visitation will be on Monday, June 3, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Bibb-Veach Funeral Homes and Crematory in Bowling Green.

Bob was born June 19, 1956 in Hannibal, Missouri to Donald Zane and Bonnie Sue (Lewis) Ingram. He was united in marriage on October 30, 2021 to Letha Lynn Ebers at the Second Baptist Church in Bowling Green. Bob was the love of Letha’s life, and she survives.

Also surviving are sons, Derek Ingram (Katie) and Ryne Ingram (Lauren), both of Bowling Green; daughter, Whitney Smith (Chris) of Olathe, Kansas; step-son, Chad Perkins of Bowling Green; step-daughter, Jessica King (Brian) of Olathe, Kansas; grandchildren: Aurora, Zane, Autumn, Charlotte, Julia, Ella, Avery, and one girl on the way; step-granddaughters, Claire and Carly King; brothers, Roger Ingram (Sharon) and Donnie Ingram (Gail) both of Bowling Green; and sister, Debbie Ingram of Bowling Green; along with many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, and an infant son.

Bob grew up and lived in Bowling Green his entire life. He was a 1974 graduate of Bowling Green High School, where he was a member of the football team. While in high school, Bob worked at Jones Bros. in Bowling Green. After high school, Bob attended Northeastern Missouri State University in Kirksville for a little over a year. He then returned to Bowling Green and went to work at Ingram Plumbing, where he worked for 48 years. During that time, Bob was instrumental in growing the business into a large regional operation. Bob served as the President of the Board at Hannibal LaGrange University. He was also a member of a coin club, corvette club, and a sporting cards club. Bob enjoyed being a part of his family’s lives, especially his children and later his grandchildren. He attended many St. Louis Cardinal games and collected lots of memorabilia. He loved going to the Opry to listen to Letha sing. Other interests include driving his 2008 Corvette, and deer hunting with his kids and grandkids. He loved his mornings at MeMe’s, sitting with the guys at the “Think Tank” table. Bob was a devout member of Second Baptist Church and served as a Deacon for many years. Bob was a great guy who thoroughly enjoyed life, and he will be greatly missed by all.

Pallbearers will be Zane Ingram, Ethan Martin, Bill Allen, Brady Martin, Dustin Bird, Dylan Bird, and Matthew Hembree. Honorary pallbearers will be the Second Baptist Church Deacons, the employees of Ingram Plumbing, and Chris Smith.
