Road Resurfacing Projects Scheduled for Multiple Boone County Routes

Contractors working with MoDOT will begin making improvements to provide a smoother driving surface for motorists on a pair of Boone County roads. Crews will re-surface Route M between Highway 63 and Route DD beginning Monday. Upon completion of that work, contractors will then begin making surface improvements to the intersection of Highway 124 and Route B in Hallsville. That portion of the project is tentatively scheduled to begin Wednesday. One lane will be closed at both sites while work takes place. Flaggers and a pilot car will be on site while work takes place daily from 7 pm to 6 am to guide motorists through the work zones. All work is weather permitting.
