Road Resurfacing Beginning This Week in Randolph and Howard Counties
MoDOT has contracted with Capital Paving & Construction, LLC to resurface 20 routes, totaling more than 148 lane miles, in Carroll, Chariton, Howard, Monroe, and Randolph counties. Asphalt resurfacing starts this week on Howard County Route CC from Route A to end of state maintenance and Randolph County Route P from Highway 63 at Clark to Route NN. Resurfacing should be completed by early October. Motorists will be directed through the one-lane work zones by flaggers. A 10-foot width restriction will be in place while work zones are active. Crews will be present during daylight hours, Monday through Saturday. All work is weather permitting, and schedules are subject to change. Other routes are included in the contract, and they’ll be completed by the end of next June.
