Rivals Westran and Salisbury Meet Friday Night

A 55-51 win for Westran last year forced a three-way share with Salisbury and Harrisburg for the Lewis & Clark Conference Championship rather than an outright title for Salisbury. Panther coach Kenny Wyatt says it’s a big game regardless of stakes.

Salisbury is 13-2.

The Lady Panthers enter 9-6 and have won four straight since taking fourth at their host tournament. Coach Barry Graskewicz says playing three competitive games against good teams in that tournament helped spark his team.

Westran has won back-to-back games. Coach Alex Thomas says confidence is growing for his 5-11 Lady Hornets.
